Structural Engineer
M.S. Structural Engineering — Texas A&M University

Who I Am
I am a structural engineer with a Master of Science from Texas A&M University and hands-on experience spanning research, design, and quality assurance. My work bridges the gap between rigorous academic analysis and real-world construction practice.
At the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, I led experimental anchor testing for a TxDOT research program — instrumenting specimens with fiber optic sensors and applying image analysis to characterize concrete-epoxy bond behavior. Prior to graduate school, I spent a year in industry at CCTEB India, designing structural frame systems and directing QA/QC operations across multiple concurrent projects.
I am deeply comfortable with the full structural engineering stack: from modeling in ETABS, STAAD Pro, RISA 3D, and SAP2000 to producing construction-ready drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and applying AASHTO LRFD, ACI 318, and AISC 360 standards.

Career
Selected Work
AutoCAD · Excel · AASHTO LRFD
Designed a three-span prestressed concrete girder bridge (120–140–120 ft) per AASHTO LRFD. Optimized tendon profile to reduce prestress losses by 12% and produced AutoCAD drawings for all girder cross-sections and anchorage zones.
RISA 3D · AISC · ASTM
Assessed force distribution, girder/connection capacity, and material properties per AISC & ASTM standards. Identified flexural overload and local buckling as failure causes and developed 3 design improvement recommendations.
STAAD Pro · Newmark-Beta · Runge-Kutta
Modeled a 3-story steel moment frame using CSM/DOF models. Applied Newmark-Beta and Runge-Kutta integration to evaluate displacement, inter-story drift, and stiffness degradation — achieving <5% error vs. closed-form solutions.
